Improve educational attainment

Success in work and life often starts with success in school. However, too many students struggle to learn and graduate due to circumstances around them like lack of resources or poverty. The Neema resilient futures programme has enabled young men and women to recognize their own potential, find hope and motivation, and start planning for the future. We’ve seen how this new drive and sense of purpose translates into results at school. For some, it means not dropping out, thanks to a renewed sense of self-worth or clearer career goals. For them and others, this will result to getting better grades and being more engaged in the classroom.

03

Barriers to Opportunity

Too many young people face barriers to opportunity and success based on factors beyond their control. Challenges are especially acute for youth living in poverty, youth with disabilities, ethnic discrimination or being in a part of a dysfunctional family. Due to the mentioned factors, too many become detached from school, work, and eventually the economy. This disconnection carries heavy costs for individual lives, families and career communities, countries, and economies. The Neema mission equips young people with skills to overcome barriers and achieve success
